Springboard Project Blog…
A busy week as per usual at The Springboard Project.
Let’s have a look at what’s been going on…
Maths
“In Maths, we have been preparing for the mock exams, students have been working together on problem solving. They then completed their mock exams independently.”
Engagement Pathway
“Kyle Hewitt has successfully completed his student First Aid (VTQ) training. Kyle has also made excellent progress working towards his ICT E-Portfolio this week and is looking forward to starting his fire safety training.”
Panto trip
“Springboard students enjoyed a trip to the pantomime this morning to see Aladdin. Students and staff joined in singing and dancing to the up beat music. Students behaved well showing respect and consideration to the younger members of the community.”
Reward Trip
“The students have completed a task from module two, in the community this week for their Asdan portfolio. They have visited Costa coffee, and were able to order drinks and a treat as a reward for the completion of their WJEC mobile device e portfolio this week. The students gained a variety of personal development skills which will help with independent living and communicating within the community. The staff were exceptionally proud of the students for showing good communication skills and behaving well, representing Springboard Project as a group.”
