Engagement Pathway

What an amazing half term it has been for students on the Engagement Pathway! Starting off with Kyle who has enjoyed his time at Saddleworth Cookery school, where he and Eddison from the Experiencing Working Life Pathway have made a new friend – Bailey the Cocker Spaniel!

They have made pizza, brownies and a giant cookie amongst other great foods.

Kyle has expressed an interest in car maintenance. You can see in the pictures where he changed a light bulb in a car which has inspired him to visit ACE training in Rochdale where they offer Mechanics, Bricklaying, Plastering, Woodwork and Music Production, as well as Hair and Beauty. Kyle will begin the basics in mechanics, achieving qualifications along the way, starting in June.

Alongside Kyle we have had Leo who attends ACE for Music Production. He has worked with his tutor to create two amazing tracks, one which he collaborated with another artist from across the pond! Leo’s tracks are a true inspiration where he openly talks about his struggles.

Also attending ACE training we have Kian and Kyle who are learning the bricklaying trade and will both be expanding their trade skills to plastering next half term.
