Every lunchtime we provide a wide range of interesting and appetising dishes that are nutritious and designed with the young people at Springboard Project in mind. Our aim is to make lunchtime an enjoyable and social activity and also a valuable learning experience.

Pupils choose their meal from a healthy range of options as they arrive in school each day and a monetary token system is used to encourage independence.

Meals can be paid for securely online through ParentPay. Please contact us if you have any questions and we will be happy to help.

If you think your child may be eligible for free school meals, please click here to visit Oldham Council’s website for more information. Oldham Council issued the following information to schools in September 2018:

Our application process is now an online only process which is available hereParents do not need to apply for free school meals if they are in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction. The only parents who may need to apply are those who feel they may be eligible but are not in receipt of either benefit. Pupils who live in the Manchester City Council area who attend an Oldham school can also apply online.

If you need any advice, please ask your child’s Pastoral Lead and they will be happy to help.

Please ask the office for a copy of the latest school menu. School meals are prepared by Oldham Council’s Education Catering Team which has been awarded a prestigious ‘Gold Food for Life Catering Mark’ for the high quality meals they provide. Further details are available on the council’s website here
